During the month of February 2026, the International Institute in Geneva will relocate to a new shared campus, which is located close to the United Nations Office in Geneva and next to several UN agencies and NGOs at La Voie-Creuse 16, 1202 Geneva. The facilities will host the International Institute in Geneva and the Geneva Business School. The Spring semester for both bachelor's and master's programs will start at the new facilities. There will be no changes in the programs, modules, academic calendars, or the teaching schedule.

Accreditations and partnership including with the University of Plymouth and Boston University, currently held by IIG, will remain as it is, and each institution will continue to issue its own diplomas.

This partnership brings together two leading institutions in Geneva, both recognized for their strong international outlook, commitment to applied learning, and close ties to international organizations and the business community. Each student at the International Institute in Geneva and the Geneva Business School will benefit from a wider range of courses, developed within a broader business ecosystem, take advantage of more partnerships with other higher education institutions abroad, and participate in more frequent research activities.

Through this collaboration, IIG and GBS will explore joint initiatives in academic programs, research, and events that address global economics, managerial, and geopolitical challenges. The students will benefit from an expanded network of over 60 international partnerships, allowing them to spend a semester abroad. The collaboration will focus on joint academic programs and co-hosted conferences.

The staff at both institutions are committed to making this partnership a successful collaboration.
